Thai Pads Buying Guide for Gyms and Equipment Brands

TitanWrap Production Team · 26 July 2026 · 7 min read

Thai pads need to protect the holder and give the striker a reliable target. Shape, density, handle layout and surface material all affect daily gym use. A custom pad brief should describe who will hold the pads, what strikes they train and how often they will be used.

Pad density should be tested under realistic impact. A pad that feels comfortable in hand may collapse too much under heavy kicks, while an overly stiff pad can punish the holder. Sampling should include coaches who use pads every day.

Handle and strap layout changes control. Some gyms prefer a traditional forearm strap and grip, while others want different ergonomics for long sessions. Stitching and reinforcement around handles are important quality checkpoints.

Branding should be visible without interfering with strike zones or wear areas. Large marks can look strong in photos, but they need to survive repeated contact. Discuss print, patch or embossed options against the chosen surface.

For bulk gym orders, carton packing and pair matching should be specified. Clear labels help the buyer distribute equipment across branches or teams without opening every carton.
