Custom Boxing Gloves Buyer's Guide for Private-Label Brands

TitanWrap Production Team · 6 August 2026 · 8 min read

A strong custom boxing glove brief starts with the athlete and use case, not the logo. Decide whether the glove is for bag work, sparring, competition, beginner retail, gym programs or premium brand drops. That choice affects padding density, closure, wrist support, lining feel, weight range and the way the glove should be tested before bulk production.

Weight planning is one of the first decisions. Lighter gloves are often used for competition or speed-focused training, while heavier gloves support sparring and high-volume practice. A wholesale range can include several weights, but each added option increases sampling, labeling, packing and stock management complexity.

Material selection should match price position and user expectation. Genuine leather can support a premium story and long service life, while synthetic PU can be practical for entry-level, gym and promotional programs. The best choice depends on the target buyer, order quantity, cleaning routine and brand positioning.

Branding should be treated as part of the construction review. Large prints may need different panel planning than small cuff marks, and metallic colors or textured marks can change both sampling and approval time. Send vector artwork, placement notes and color references early so the production team can check feasibility before quoting.

Before approving bulk production, review one physical sample against the written specification. Check hand compartment feel, thumb position, wrist closure, stitching, lining, logo placement and packed presentation. Clear comments at this stage prevent expensive misunderstandings once the order moves into production.
